Overview
Wandering Solus is a travel blogger sharing destination tips, country breakdowns, and on-the-road insights, with a focus on solo travel. He needed a logo and visual identity that would work seamlessly across social media and his upcoming blog, while capturing the spirit of long-term, low-budget adventure.
Problem
As a newcomer to the travel space, Wandering Solus needed a brand identity that was recognisable, versatile, and reflective of his personal style. The logo had to feel professional yet approachable, standing out on Instagram and other digital platforms without appearing overly commercial.
Solution
I created a visual identity that balances adventure with authenticity. The final logo merges the initials “W” and “S” into a stylised mountain peak, subtly suggesting solo travel and movement. The colour palette uses warm, earthy tones (mahogany, Spanish yellow, Prussian blue) to convey a grounded yet adventurous mood. Bold typography (Bebas Neue) ensures legibility at smaller sizes, and the overall system reflects a practical, resourceful, and inspiring tone.
