Overview
Cheers! is a mobile app designed to simplify event planning for any kind of celebration, from birthdays and graduations to hen dos and weddings. The aim was to create a playful yet practical tool that helps users organise, collaborate and manage all aspects of an event in one place, without chaos or endless group chats.
Problem
Planning events with friends can quickly become overwhelming. Deadlines are missed, budgets spiral, and responsibilities often fall through the cracks. Communication usually ends up scattered across multiple apps, making it difficult to keep track of decisions, expenses and tasks, especially as the event draws near.
Solution
I designed a mobile-only experience built around clarity, collaboration and flexibility. Users can quickly create an event, invite participants and define the budget, view the timeline, and get inspired by the moodboard. The interface helps assign tasks, track progress and send timely reminders as the big day approaches.
To reduce stress even further, I integrated expense tracking and intelligent cost-splitting. Users can log purchases, split costs by person, and transfer money directly through the app. The moodboard feature offers visual inspiration, helping define the vibe of the celebration early on. The result is an intuitive, joyful planning tool that brings people together long before the party begins.
